It was my first visit to China and she made a great difference. I hope I'll be able to come back.

Architecture and design of dwelling, quality of amenities, value of money, hospitality of host and hostess. It was truly one of kind experience. We noticed the place was rated “the most elegant courtyard” in town upon arrival, and it surely felt that way. It was designed in the style of traditional Chinese courtyard, with beautiful, living plants tastefully positioned throughout the property and in rooms - the hostess is also a floral artist. Everywhere you turn, it is a picture-perfect scene directly cut from a book or a movie. There are tea sets on table and newly harvested tea. A fruit plate was filled with the day’s fresh choices. Books are real, good books, not those only put there for decoration. The hotel staff was also very helpful. Seeing that we sometimes left our door ajar, she thoughtfully ignited mosquito-repellent herds around the vicinity. It is a place one might feel like living in a dream, surrounded by the ambiance of thousands of years of traditional Chinese culture. The moment you entered the hotel and closed the door behind you, you leave the hustling, bustling world outside, and entered one serene, zen and beautiful.

A good location for a stress-free holiday in Wuxi, Somerset Harmony City Wuxi is an apartment surrounded by views of the garden. 2 bedroom apartment. 15th floor. Apartment is very big, clean n cosy. Very well equipped.

Set within 6.7 km of Jinji Lake and 16 km of The Lingering Garden, Somerset Baitang Suzhou features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Suzhou. Great location. Wonderful staff who were really kind to us and looked after us. Cleanliness excellent. Wide choice of breakfast items.

Located within 25 km of Jinji Lake and 28 km of Hanshan Temple, Begonia Flowers Guesthouse provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Suzhou. I stayed on the rooftop. I had a wonderful stay. The host was very responsive and helpful. The guesthouse has an old charm but it definitely contains modern amenities like heater/ac, hot cold water, wifi, tv, electric water kettle, and universal outlets. The owner even dropped me off the bus station.

Suzhou Jade Snow Lodge features accommodation situated 7.8 km from the centre of Suzhou and offers a garden and a terrace. Great location close to Pingjiang Road, the hosts were very welcoming and gave us plenty of advice and recommendations. We got upgraded from a double bed room to a suite, which was very comfortable and clean. Great stay, we will come back and recommend this hotel to our friends!

Citadines Suzhou Xinghai is located within the Suzhou Industrial Park and just minutes from Jinji Lake. The hotel offers a fitness centre and comfortable apartments with full kitchen facilities. Staff was very nice. Apartment was very comfortable.

Ascott New District Wuxi is located in Wuxi and features a heated pool and city views. The ambience is incredible from check in to check out. The entire place is aesthetically pleasing. The customer service is awesome. People were geniunely kind. Everyone was helpful as well. I look forward to my next extended stay. Apartments are spacious, clean, large, and modern. In Wuxi, China I feel that its like stepping into America breifly, maybe even Singapore for a moment and the nostalgia means a lot to me having been in China 4 years consecutively. I am grateful for opportunites here in China and the diverse establishments that give expats something to look forward too.

Situated in Suzhou, 26 km from Jinji Lake, 同里泊·晓烟河景民宿 features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and a tour desk. The localtion was excellent, right on the edge of Tongli so very easy to get to water town, there was a lovely view from the window of the bridge and waterway. The host went out of their way to help us locate a restaurant that could accommodate my nephew's nut allergy. Highly recommended
