I really enjoyed my stay at 9 stanze - boutique rooms. We had the double or twin room with private bathroom number 9. We received a message with all the instructions and suggestions for Trieste before our arrival, which was very nice. Once we arrived at the property, Giulia greeted us, but I believe you can also check in later in the evening on your own thanks to the external keypad. There's the elevator, so very functional if you have a lot of luggages and/or have accessibility problems. I loved the fact that there's a big water dispenser on each floor free to use. We arrived from the Trieste airport with the train (which is very well connected, you have trains every 30 mins more or less), and it takes 30 minutes. From the train station to the property it's an easy 10 minutes walk. The location is super central, you can explore Trieste by walk. Both room and bathroom were very spacious. Our room wasn't facing the square, but still from our window we could see part of it. Despite this, the room was very quiet and we could have a great night sleep. The bed is very comfortable, and the best part is that the property provides two types of pillows (one soft and one slightly thicker) so you can choose the one you prefer. The temperature in the room was always comfortable. You also have a good selection of books available. There's a kettle and a coffee machine with Illy pods and Twinings teabags, and a fridge. It's a little expensive but worth every cent, I would go back!
