A great place to stay to visit the great wall and experience a peaceful Chinese village. The entrance to the great wall is just a short walk. This section of the great wall is so quiet that we have the whole place to ourselves. It is also not very restored so you get to see some of the original wall. They also cooked fresh food from their garden for us. I have been to Beijing twice and did all the major tourist spots. I have to say staying here and hiking the wall in peace is my best Beijing experience.

The owners of this place were amazing! They helped me with absolutely everything. I had a 24 hour layover and wanted to visit the wall quickly, before having to go to the airport. A risky maneuver, but it worked out perfectly. I arrived late at night and they stayed awake waiting for me. Even offered me dinner. The next morning, they made breakfast for me. Drove me to the wall and I was the first person there. They bought the tickets for me and spoke to the staff at the wall to make sure I was good. After my visit, they had a driver waiting for me to drive me straight to the airport. I got there with 2 hours to spare. PERFECT execution. I strongly recommend this place :)

Absolute best place to stay if you plan to visit the great wall! There is no words to properly describe how good the experience is, everything was beyond my expectations, and even more when you consider the standart in China Rooms are big and comfy, bathroom very clean with all you need (even the mirror fit a European size!), a very nice common room with couches and a table to meet all the guests But more than that, you have a lovely host that will be there to help you and arrange everything for you, always with a smile! Everything is smooth and easy, make sure you try the dinner with everyone before leaving and don't forget to pet these cats!
