I was a little worried about our stay on the houseboat as there are so many to choose from. However, as soon as I stepped on the boat I knew I had made the right decision. It is spotless and tidy. It is well kept. The owners met with us both to share the history of the houseboats and the local area. We had a wonderful cook and captain who took care of us throughout our stay. We were on a one bedroom boat which I highly recommend and we paid an additional fee for a trip down the narrow side canals the next morning: you must do this as you see local village life. The bed is enormous and all clean and comfortable. We wouldn’t hesitate to book this houseboat again. There are many on the water but many are large and not well maintained. This boat is very clean and offers a more authentic experience.

The landscape is breathtaking, and it's beautiful to see how the scenery changes as you navigate through the wide or narrow canals of the backwaters. We spent one night, but I would have loved to stay another day. In the evening, the boat docks in a place where only we were, creating a peaceful and excellent relaxing atmosphere. The boat was impeccable and comfortable, truly flawless. The food was exquisite, offering a wide variety for those who wanted to try the delights of Kerala cuisine or those who preferred something more international. The staff was very friendly and had excellent communication. Unforgettable!
