I had a wonderful stay at Tashkand houseboat during winter season in January 2023. Musa, the houseboat owner, is very helpful and provide very good service. Dinner at Tashkand was our best dining in Kashmir as it's fresh meat, homemade, and no MSG. If you stay here I recommend trying 1 dining at his place. The place is clean and tidy. There's towels and amenities provided. There s no heater in the bedroom but it's replaced with warmed electric blanket which works very well to keep you warm at night, especially in winter. There are free shikara ride across to main road if you paid for shikara ride trip the first or second day. It's a special deal that the houseboat made with shikara riders so you will get the best deal and save money if you get shikara trip. It was the memorable, affordable house boat price. He organized Shikara rides not just for us but also our friends. The houseboat is very well located, very clean and beautiful. It is uniquely positioned on a corner, and thus, we had great view from our bedroom. The room was spacious, well-lit and tidy. We would definitely like to stay there when we are back.

The house boat is really nice and the rooms are lovely. There is a nice area/balcony to hang out and admire the scenic view. The food is really tasty and authentic. I would definitely recommend Veena Palace it was amazing!

But I Actually Witnessed it on my trip to kashmir And stay in smith palace Houseboat The staff was exceptionally helpful and the propertier rayees bhai Arranged everything for us Around tg city transport and Sightseen . I felt welcomed at heart the food was delicious as they dont have a set menu , we were asked Prior for our food preferences and it was made Fresh according to our taste . Houseboat was clean And magnificent . We would love to make this trip again with Rayees bhai and i recommended to all my friends
