Det familiedrevne hotel Venus ligger i landsbyen Pamukkale og er omgivet af en have med swimmingpool. A lovely hotel in a great location. It was easy to walk into the town and only a short drive to the upper entrance to the travertine and ruins. Plenty of parking. The breakfast buffet was extensive and very tasty, as was food from the restaurant menu.

Ionia Guest House is truly a hidden gem. It is located beside an olive grove in a rural area not far from Aydin. It was the perfect place to use as a launching pad to explore various ancient cities in the area (Ephesus,Kusadashi,Magnesium by the Maender,Miletus, Priene,Pamukkale). What was truly special about the Ionia Guest House however, were the hosts Jason and Shiree. It is obvious that this is their passion as their only goal was to see to, and attend to their guests’ every need. They were helpful, friendly, and wore their hearts on their sleeves. They went above and beyond in helping us sort out any problems we encountered and will always be thankful. The room was spacious and clean and the swimming pool was wonderful at the end of a hot day. Breakfast and dinner meals were fabulous with tasty food and big portions. They also had a laundry service for a very reasonable rate where they charged by the load and not by the item. The Ionian Guest House is a place we will always remember fondly.
