Super nice host Couple. The livingroom looks like something from a luxury villa. Easy take rself breakfast and delicious, Just a really excellent place and very good hosts. I totally recommend. The livingroom also had the biggest mirror I have ever seen, Just WOW. They only rent out two rooms making this a very intimate visit.

Absolutely gorgeous, historic accommodation in the heart of Strängnäs. You can see the Domkyrka bell tower from the bedroom window and it’s a short walk to the harbour and windmill (well worth a tour—it’s free and the guides are fantastic). Henrik and Isa have thought of every comfort and are incredibly obliging hosts. The bed is possibly the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. Strängnäs itself is adorable. Its location on Mälaren makes for a beautiful outlook, there are cafes, restaurants and boutiques. There are shops, pubs and swimming spots. The train takes you to Stockholm in less than an hour and it’s not too far to Mariefred and Gripsholms Slott. I mean, what’s not to love? Henrik and Isa have good recommendations to suit your needs. You should stay here!

And Elisabeth and Per-Erik are fabulous hosts, so welcoming, accommodating, warm and funny. Chatting with Per-Erik when we arrived and with Elisabeth in the morning over our fantastic Swedish breakfast in the gorgeous dining room were real highlights of a great stay. It’s hard to describe just how beautiful and comfortable this property is. We stayed one night and we were sad to leave.
