Hopwood Bed & Breakfast is situated in Taihape and has recently renovated accommodation, a kitchenette and mountain views. Everything was beautiful and it was so peaceful. Leah added so many special touches and everything was there that you needed. The homemade muffins were divine! It was very clean and tidy and felt like a home away from home! Wisteria Way is a recently renovated guest house in Opononi, where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge. Bruce and Teresa were fabulous hosts! Our cottage was so romantic and cozy. I never rent a place where I have to share a bathroom, but I made an exception. I'm so glad I did! They had three toilet rooms, two with showers. They were extremely clean and spacious. The BEST part of it was that it made us go outside at night and see the beauty. Unfortunately, it was a cloudy day, but on a clear night...OMG! The shared kitchen was a HUGE bonus. It was well equipped with a full size refrigerator, oven, stove, and all the utensils necessary to make a fabulous meal. The three cottages are amongst the enormous garden and you feel like you are living in a fairytale! I highly recommend this place and it's so close to the big Kauri trees!
