It was a quiet and comfortable location. The room was very clean. The owner of the accommodation was very nice and could communicate with guests through translation software. In addition, the owner’s cooking skills were very good. We enjoyed rich and delicious breakfast and dinner. Highly recommended this accommodation to everyone.

Located just 14 km from Konakano Station, 津軽三味線と民謡 ゲストハウス繭子の宿 features accommodation in Hachinohe with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a 24-hour front desk. Mayuko-san is very friendly and accommodating, she cooked a small dinner for the guests when I was there and told us about traditional Japanese dance. A very lovely guest house!

Guest House Inawashiro~Hanbog~ ligger i Inawashiro, under 14 km fra Mount Bandai og 20 km fra Aizuwakamatsu Station. Der tilbydes værelser med aircondition og fælles badeværelse. Hanbog guest house is simply amazing. The staff are so friendly and are keen to give lots of recommendations. As the guest house is a 30 minute walk from the nearest train station, the owner offers a pick up and drop off service so you are able to get around for day trips. Upon recommendation from the owner, I took a trip to Aizu Wakamatsu and Nanukamachi street - just a short train ride away- and went to Tsuruga castle, the tea ceremony and the Oyakuen medicinal herb gardens. These were all so beautiful and well worth seeing when staying in Inawashiro. The next day, the staff took me to the train station to rent a bike for just 500 yen for the whole day. I cycled half way around the lake, stopping at the beach and at Sanshiro restaurant for chilled soba and vegetable tempura!! So tasty. The homestay is just stunning, with the most incredible views of Mount Bandai. I was very lucky with the weather and had three days of sun. There are fridges in the dorms so you can keep your own food and they were happy to help me heat it up. The showers are so powerful and the facilities very clean! I had a very comfortable stay here, getting very good nights sleep in the comfortable beds and peaceful atmosphere. There are many games to play too to keep you occupied in the evening with the other guests. I actually can’t fault this lovely guest house- one I will always remember.

Tototo Morioka ligger i Morioka, under 2,2 km fra Morioka Station og 100 m fra Morioka Byens Hus. Der tilbydes værelser med aircondition og fælles badeværelse. Everything was perfect! The rooms were clean and spacious. でらさん was very nice and super helpful and gave everyone various maps and information about morioka and iwate. The kitchen is also very well equipped and the guesthouse is in a nice old part of the city.

Japanese old folk Guest House - GAMP HOUSE ligger i Iwaki og har rolig gadeudsigt, indkvartering og have. This house is several centuries old. It has been in the family for generations. It is a work of art inside and out. It’s amazing to stay in a place this historic.

Matakitai ligger 16 km fra Chuson-ji-templet og tilbyder 1-stjernet indkvartering i Ichinoseki samt have. Amazing experience! This place is simply stunning, super comfortable, and gives a real insight into Japanese culture and way of life!

Guest House Chara ligger i Hirosaki, 34 km fra Sannai-Maruyama og 3,5 km fra Hirosaki Slot, og har udsigt til haven og den indre gårdhave. We stayed for just one night but we felt very welcome and we wanted to stay longer. Even if the location wasn’t so central we were kindly picked up and dropped off at the train station. They even helped us having an early breakfast to catch our early train. As vegetarians we put the hosts in a bit of a pickle, but they gave us a delicious breakfast nonetheless ;) We definitely would like to come back 😄

Uchi ligger i Matsushima, 200 m fra Zuigan-ji-templet. Gæsterne kan lytte til musik eller se tv i fællesområdet. Der er fælles opholdsstue på stedet. Great hostel. The owner is realy nice and gives alot of tips on what to do and see in the area. The location is amazing. Walking distance from everthing you wanna see in town. It realy clean.
