I was given a very hospitable welcome. James offered me tea as soon as I arrived. In the evening there was even a glass of wine. I was invited to stay in the living room or walk through the garden. There was always time for short conversations, which made my stay more pleasant. James prepared breakfast directly in the morning. The Irish breakfast was arranged according to my taste. For me there was freshly brewed coffee, orange juice, fruit, cereals, toast, beans and a selection of meats. The accommodation really looks like the pictures! If you like the style of an old country house, this is the place for you. Everything has been lovingly renovated to a high standard. The heating and the bathroom with shower were up to date but adapted to the style. All in all, highly recommended. I am glad that I found this accommodation.

Located just 18 km from Kildare Town Heritage Centre, Kearney"s Cottage B&B offers accommodation in Killenard with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. Excellent standard of accommodation. Super friendly host. Room was spacious & comfortable. En-suite with great shower. Everything was spotless. Super breakfast complete with freshly baked breads. On business so fast Internet was a bonus. Would definitely recommend.

Décor and furniture were stylish and reflective of the home's character. All food served on site was delicious and all dietary requirements were catered for. We thoroughly enjoyed the communal dining experience, music and chats after dinner in the drawing room. Safe and secure parking on site.
