Our room exceeded expectations. Everything was to a high standard with much thought and care reflected in the choice of furnishing and fixtures. We were made to feel most welcome. As the property is a little way out of Lanark we had taken food for the evening. The owner invited us to use the breakfast room, providing cutlery, crockery and glasses, and also lit the stove in the lounge for us even though we were the only guests there that evening.

The breakfast was exceptional, large portions with many options. The room was cleaned promptly and thoroughly. Loved having coffee pot and biscuits in the room. Owners were friendly and helpful.

Shawlee Cottage asub Airdries, Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome'ist ja Celtic Parkist 20 km kaugusel. Majutusruumides on istumisnurk. Fantastic place to stay for Scotland exploration. The cottage is cosy, very clean and with some history. Sandy and Cathy are lovely couple. Their Scottish breakfast is delicious. It was our first visit to Scotland and thanks to Sandy's advices we have seen great places that we would have missed. We will highly recommend Shawlee Cottage to everyone. And we will be back :)

The location was great, with a nice view. The hosts are lovely and welcoming. There is a nice parking space. I recommend this B&B.
