Located in a perfect location within walking distance of a number of eating establishments Breakfast and staff were extremely helpful. Had a room on the top floor with a vertical spiral staircase. Ask for this room. Provided parking which was also a plus. The rate should have been higher as one could not ask for more. Would have paid more without a second thought.

The family-run Ambleside Townhouse is situated in Ambleside, 800 metres from Lake Windermere. It offers en suite rooms and a full English breakfast in the morning. Excellent location. Was able to purchase early parking and check in. The staff were helpful and welcoming. The hotel was clean, bright, modern and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, fruit juices, fruit, yogurt, granola and cereals and a great selection of cooked breakfast choices.

Westbourne är ett vackert pensionat som ligger i ett lugnt område nedanför Biskey Howe i Lake District. Rummen har duschkabin, lyxiga badprodukter och stora fluffiga handdukar. Excellent location! Very close to the lake a shops. Lovely and clean room. The hosts were extremely kind, warm and helpful. Enjoyed our stay and hope to come back soon! Will definitely recommend this to others!

Jerichos is a contemporary family-run guest house with stylish decor situated on a quiet side street in the heart of Windermere village. There is free Wi-Fi and free ample private parking. Perfectly located on a gorgeous and quiet street, with their own parking spaces. It's just one short block from all of the shops in Windermere, and a great hike to the lookout point for the views. Hop in your car for a short journey to the lake and more shops and restaurants. Beautifully decorated, quiet, and inviting for a night in with a glass of wine in the lobby. The breakfast was lovely too, and the staff were very friendly. Loved all of the details in the room and the property. If you're interested in less touristy food, it's only a 30 minute drive to Ambleside, which has some fantastic restaurants and less tourists.

Detta vackra viktorianska hus har ett lugnt läge mellan Windermere och Bowness, bara 1,6 km från Lake Windermere. The location was just a 10 mins walk to Windermere. The hotel was lovely and clean and the bed was really comfortable. Good WiFi connection. The staff were lovely and the breakfast was delicious great selection the salmon and scrambled egg especially and the ingredients were to a high quality.

The Log House ligger i Ambleside, 16 km från Lake Windermere och 29 km från Derwentwater. Här finns gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen. Great location just a 5-10 minute walk to the centre of town and also to the lake. Near parking and the view from our window over sheep in the paddock was very relaxing.
