Anne-Sophie, our host, was amazing. She recommended us good place to visit in the areas. Helped us to book activities and kindly organised for us the sauna or Roman bath. On top of that, she would always follow up with an extra touch to make us truly feel like home. My partner and I wanted her to adopt us but realised that’s not something you can ask to people generally. I really recommend the Hydge lodge, especially if you go as a couple. It is very relaxing and as I described earlier, our host was amazing and kind.

Enjoyed the pool and sauna, very cool vibe of partial indoor/outdoor. The gardens are lovely on the property. Serene.

The house itself is full of character and immaculately presented with spacious clean rooms and all the amenities you would expect. We especially enjoyed the peace and quiet and having access to the very beautiful and tranquil gardens. Breakfast was enjoyed at the top of the property with views out over lake Annecy.

Everything! The hosts were warm, accommodating and could not have done more to make us feel at home. The property and location is beautiful and picturesque, with the gorgeous Lake Annecy only a half hour walk away. Breakfast in the garden of the hosts was a wonderful experience. The facilites of the property were excellent, with a large comfortable bed and plenty of pillows. Everything you could possibly need. We will certainly return!
