I booked this stay quite last minute as my last night of a 2 week road trip. I wanted a quiet location on route to St Malo. During my search this property caught my eye due to its appearance and it being a period Manor House. I was very surprised at what I thought was a low cost, therefore expected something a little less that what I experienced. I was utterly blown away by it from the moment I arrived, the husband of the man & wife owners met us on the entrance steps and immediately offered a truly hospitable welcome. We were led up the grand staircase to our room which was in fact more of a suite. Elegance but with some quirky fun decoration touches gave this mansion a relaxed feel. The bed was so comfortable, the separate bathroom fitted with a bath and shower was immaculately clean. We had stopped during our journey to take some food for our dinner as we were not expecting the property to provide anything more than breakfast, however the kind gentleman did ask if we required anything to eat. That in itself was very thoughtful and great hospitality. He said you are welcome to take your picnic anywhere in the gardens which surrounded the amazing house, he then came with a bottle of wine and offered us a very nice glass. (I am not saying this should be expected by all visitors). After a wonderful night’s sleep we went to the dining room for breakfast. Absolutely delicious, Croissants, bread, crepes, beautiful homemade jam’s & marmalade, honey from the neighbour, freshly pressed orange juice, great coffee. The husband & wife hosts just opened up their house earlier this year and I wish them every success for the future. I would like to add that I have spent 47 years working in the hospitality industry and have been a chef de cuisine at many top establishments, awarded for my talent and expertise. Therefore I have the knowledge to understand and recognise good hospitality and this property is a great example of that.

We found the property, the grounds, the service and the attentive hosts all excellent. The evening meal was first class, an imaginative menu cooked with serious expertise. The house has been very well refurbished with considerable flair all in harmony with the age of the original build.

Offering a garden and garden view, Les chambres du Roc'h Hir à Loguivy de la Mer is situated in Ploubazlanec, 500 metres from Plage de Roc'h Hir and 50 km from Saint-Brieuc Cathedral. Frederique and Alexandra were lovely hosts and the property was great. Rooms were clean and welcoming and the facilities were very good. The outdoor space was perfect with a cosy atmosphere and the sea view. Breakfast was very good and there was everything we needed. Particular thanks go to Fred who looked after us well. We would like to return to this quiet, calm and relaxing property in the future. Thank you.

Located just 2.9 km from Plage de la Roche Morin, la_grande_guerais provides accommodation in Beaussais sur Mer with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. Everything, the rooms were gorgeous, the location was great as only 20 minutes from St Malo with shops and bakeries nearby. Quentin, the host, was so friendly and helpful, he made us feel very welcome and comfortable. The communal facilities on site are amazing with a lovely pool, jacuzzi and sauna. We stayed in the garden view room, which went straight out onto the front garden which was so beautiful and well maintained. Can’t fault our stay at all and we can’t wait to go back!

Situated in Taden and only 2.5 km from Dinan Train Station, Manoir de La Garaye - Suite Parentale features accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. The historical property is wonderfully restored and is very peaceful. The hosts were very kind and made us feel welcome. We felt right at home.

Situated in Poullaouen, in a historic building, 38 km from Lampaul-Guimiliau Parish Close, Ty Monde - Chambres d'hôtes en Finistère is a recently renovated guest house with a terrace and bar. Very quiet and clean, great owners.

Situated in Tréffiagat, La Gentilhommière features accommodation with private pool, free WiFi and free private parking for guests who drive. Warm welcome, the host and his family were both welcoming and helpful. The host provided a full list of restaurants, explaining what they offered and at what cost point. I run, and again the host suggested routes and recommendations. The bed was very comfortable, and large enough for me to plan on returning with my wife who is hotter than the sun when she’s asleep.

Merci bien for our really nice and relaxing overnight stay in the nature near Morlaix. Simon and his wife are very engaged hosts who try to make your stay really fantastic with all those lovely details in their renovated farm house. Our room was just amazingly big and clean. Behind the house there's a beautiful garden and a lot of nature around. Breakfast was plentiful. Parking space directly in front of the house. We'll definitely come back if we are around again in Bretagne.

Featuring a garden, bar and views of quiet street, CHAMBRES D'HÔTES AU DETOUR DU MONT St Michel is set in Roz-sur-Couesnon, 11 km from Mont Saint Michel Abbey. our room was spacious with a double bed and a single bed in a separate room. shower in the room and private toilet across the passage. downstairs was a generous selection of games. the best thing was a short walk to the church garden that has a beautiful view to the coastline and to mount saint Michel
