Located in Sartilly, in a historic building, 11 km from Scriptorial d'Avranches, musee des manuscrits du Mont Saint-Michel, Au Mont & Merveilles is a guest house with free bikes and garden. The hosts were just lovely, nothing was a problem & they were chatty & welcoming. The bed was really comfy & was a king size too which is a bonus as you don't usually find them in properties, it's usually a double.! The rooms were very spacious & had everything we needed & everything was lovely & clean. Breakfast was generous & really good. Location was spot on for what we needed.

Situated in Avranches in the Lower Normandy region, with Scriptorial d'Avranches, musee des manuscrits du Mont Saint-Michel nearby, Le Domaine de Pivette Chambre climatisée et insolite avec terrasse... Such a wonderful room!! The owner could not have been more accommodating. Breakfast and hot coffee alfresco on the private patio. Abundance of stars at night. Sheets and towels were sumptuous and smelled amazing 🤩 Bed could not have been more comfortable. Such a great experience!

Offering a garden and garden view, Chez Béa is set in Granville, 2.9 km from Fourneau Beach and 3.7 km from Granville Train Station. Staying with Bea was a warm and welcoming experience, not transactional like so many room rentals these days. I felt like a guest, not just a customer. The breakfast was amazing, lots of variety, much of it homemade, and all very tasty. An Italian couple stayed there the same night and it was fun and convivial to share conversation at breakfast. Bea and her husband also gave me helpful travel tips for the next leg of my trip to Mont St Michel. They were very kind and accommodating.
