Offering a shared lounge and garden view, Hostal Infanta Doña Leonor is set in Palencia, 44 km from Palencia Cathedral and 28 km from Villa Romana La Olmeda. Both Lito and Maria were welcoming and helpful and could not do enough for us. It is a perfect stop for people doing the Santiago route but we just wanted an overnight stop in a quiet village . It was perfect and we left with oranges and small presents and very nice memories. Would go there again.

Most enjoyable Stay on the Camino.so far I was fortunate to have a second floor room with a balcony .. The hostess kindly provided a table so that we could enjoy a romantic meal of locally produced food and wine overlooking the square in the warmth of the spring sun.. The room was large ,decorated beautifully the bed comfortable, and hostess charming and very helpful. Couldn't ask for more. Magnificent. and a must stay at Carron de los Condes. Alan

Villa Ferrera Posada Rural has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Herrera de Valdecañas. This 4-star inn offers a bar. A great little find, just off the road between Valladolid and Burgos. The village is tiny and the hotel is the social centre, so we were joined in the restaurant by many local families. The room was spacious with a big bed, and the bathroom large and modern. Dinner was delicious and the service attentive. Breakfast was continental with plenty of choice. We would certainly stop here again.

This charming guest house is located right on the Camino de Santiago, opposite the Santa María Church in Carrión de los Condes. It offers en-suite rooms and an excellent restaurant. My wife and I arrived on Sunday July 30. We were checked in quickly by the gentleman at the desk then shown to our room. Bright and airy, spotlessly clean and a very nice bathroom. We had dinner that evening at their restaurant. This was excellent and the restaurant well patronized by Spanish families.. always a good sign.. We would highly recommend. Thank you.
