Situated 2.5 km from Gubei Water Town in Miyun and Simatai Great Wall, 20 km from Jinshanling Great Wall, Jumanyuan House features air-conditioned rooms and free private parking. The hosts were super hospitable, warm and friendly. The owner came to Beijing Airport to pick me up and brought me safely to their home. It felt like a homestay with home cooked breakfast. The breakfast was sumptuous, and had this very homestyle feel. The location is just six minutes away from the Gubei Watertown and Simatai Great Wall. I wanted to see the Great Wall at night so I chose to stay here. The owner drove me to Gubei Watertown and back to the hotel so transportation was fine and good. Wifi was fine and the bed was huge. Again, the owners were so kind and friendly. I felt like a VIP.

Situated in Miyun, just 50 metres away from the Great Wall, this friendly hostel features modern architecture, free Wi-Fi and free parking. Sometimes you see these high scores and become doubtful, but this place is legit. It is in such a perfect area if your goal is the Great Wall. Quiet and so cute. I was the only one there so it was about but I can’t wait to go back. She offers meals so that takes out the hassle of where you’re going to eat. It’s really good food. Bring cash to pay if you don’t have any of the payment apps that are used all over Beijing. This is a must stay.

Extremely clean and lovely. Warm floors and toilet sit which was fabulous. Staff were friendly and helpful. It felt like home. Got helps for activities around Beijing. Transport was fantastic Coach, bus and tube which make life easy to explore the tourist points. Neighbourhoods were fantastic and everyone’s of the village was receptive and friendly. II had no problem with communication even so I can’t speak Chinese🇨🇳, but some people spoken English quite well and some did well on under the barriers of the language. I Met interesting people from lots of part of the world. I want comeback and explore the country side surrounding areas of the mountains . I strongly recommend for who have the adventurous spirit and enjoy meet and learn from others experiences too. Also, I learned some words in Mandarin which is a bonus ❤️😘

The host was very helpful throughout the stay. Place was clean and neat, bed is comfortable, which was important for travellers to rest adequately 🤗 The breakfast was made by the host herself. It was beautifuly presented and delicious too. She also offered us a dumpling wrapping activity with a small top up fee. It was an authentic local experience so I'd recommend that too. Overall happy with my stay here, and I'd definitely recommend it to all travellers!

This accommodation is located in the Central Area with a lot of food options nearby yet away from the hustle in a small alley (Hutong). Further hidden inside a cafe, which I felt very safe and exclusive. Staff members are super friendly and helpful to assist with enquiries, housekeeping and also some logistic issues.
