Located in Grächen and only 42 km from Allalin Glacier, Mountain Lodge provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Everything is brand new and very comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast was the best that we had in Switzerland. It consisted of breads, juice, fruit cups, cheese, deli meats, yogurt, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage. You check in at the Pizza restaurant right next to the lodge, this was easy and the staff was very friendly. You do need to park in a garage a block away in a parking garage behind the Coop grocery store (See Pictures), but there is no cost to you, the Pizza restaurant will stamp your parking ticket. This was no problem at all, we pulled up directly in front of our room and unloaded our luggage and parked the car in the parking garage. We even arrived early and were able to drop our luggage off in the room which was helpful. The views are amazing from the room and there is a town square right outside the window with a church (bells ringing of course like everywhere else in Switzerland), restaurants and mountain views. We enjoyed walking around the small town and find a nice take away restaurant down the road. Like most places in Switzerland, the room has no AC, so you have to leave the windows open. We brought small USB fans which I highly recommend if you travel to Switzerland in the summer. I discovered in the morning that there are electronic controls for the blinds over the windows and doors.

Offering city views, Marché 28 Guesthouse is an accommodation located in Montreux, 600 metres from Train station Montreux and 29 km from Lausanne Railway Station. Location is good, in the center. Clean, organized apartment. The owner provided cleaning/room service every day, including changing towels, filling in coffee/tee. The terrace is very nice, allows to sit outside and rest/eat. Few notes for visitors, as i myself like to read for information; Montreux is on hills, take into consideration that even if close to the lake, the path can be steep and not convenient for everyone by foot. there is a bus to use of course. the apartment has a bedroom and living room where there is sofa that you can open for additional 2 people, but in my opinion, the sofa is good for children, less for adults, possible to sleep but not ideal.

Featuring a garden and views of mountain, Villa by @ Home Hotel Locarno is a guest house situated in a historic building in Locarno, 1.2 km from Piazza Grande Locarno. Absolutely gorgeous location. Very large space inside the apartment. The staff were very helpful.

Set in Les Diablerets, within 37 km of Musée National Suisse de l'audiovisuel, Chambre d'hôtes L'ours Bleu is an accommodation offering quiet street views. Great place to stay, calm and peaceful. The room was comfy, clean and beautiful. The balcony and the view was incredible. Philippe was an amazing host, welcoming, helpful and very kind ! Thank you for hosting us. I definitely recommend this place
