Featuring pool with a view and views of sea, La maison de l'île d'Orléans -- déjeuner gastronomique is a bed and breakfast situated in a historic building in Saint-Jean, 35 km from Vieux Quebec Old... We wish our schedule would have allowed us to stay for the later brunch but the express breakfast Yves prepared for us was amazing… and even dessert! Thank you Sylvia and Yves for the super hospitality! The location has a superb view and easy to access.

Bed and Breakfast Panorama features garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Saint-Laurent-de-l'ile d'Orleans, 18 km from Vieux Quebec Old Quebec. We stayed in the Panorama room, and had a wonderful view across the river to Quebec city. Beautiful Room was Moroccan themed, very unique. Our host was wonderful, enjoyed talking to him after breakfast. Hearty breakfast served, wonderful home made yogurt, French toast and home made preserves.

Om Villégiature features a sauna and free private parking, and is within 23 km of Vieux Quebec Old Quebec and 24 km of Basilique Cathedrale Notre Dame de Quebec. Great location for spending a night on the island, easy to find. The in-room air conditioner was a life saver because it was an abnormally hot and humid couple of days and there was no relief even at night. The check-in was painless and breakfast was quickly served when we arrived downstairs in the morning to talk to the host.

Auberge au Poste de Traite features a shared lounge, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Sainte-Famille. The buffet breakfast has everything you would ever want or need….regional items such as waffle bits with local maple syrup, fresh fruit, eggs, meat, cheeses and other breads, too. You will not walk away hungry! But best of all was the staff!! Friendly, accommodating, and truly going out of their way. We had dinner one night there…hmmmmm, great food!! The portions are large and vey delicious…we didn’t expect gourmet but got it!! Location is nice, too…easy to get to Old Town Quebec…as well as other places on and off the island. Especially liked the view and how quiet it was at night.

This friendly little hotel on the island of Orleans along the Saint Lawrence. River is a 20-minute drive from downtown Quebec City. It has 15 beautiful air-conditioned rooms with river views. We love both the facilities and the location. We always come back at the same time each year - during the “off season” - so it is wonderfully quiet and peaceful. The hotel staff are always wonderful and helpful - not only about the hotel itself, but about other things in the local area itself.
