Situated in Launceston, 2.1 km from Queen Victoria Museum and 2.6 km from Boags Brewery, The Dragonfly Inn features accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning, a shared lounge and a garden. Breakfast was really well sorted - a basket for each room was in the fridge waiting for us at breakfast.

Best thing was Nina and her delicious morning homemade breads. Also her bread pudding and fresh scones with jam and whip cream was delicious. Nina was a wonderful host that made sure your stay was comfortable. She even had a small dish of ice in the freezer she would fill for us to use in our drinks. The beds were great, room quiet, and curtains that made it nice and dark for sleeping. House has great charm, history and beautiful gardens.

The location of the property is just right next to the Tasman highway and is located right next to Bicheno Blowhole. The property is been taken a good care by Carolyn. Such a comfortable place to stay. Cleanliness of the place is great.

I generally don’t like staying at B&Bs because I feel they are too confining or not private enough. But this is totally the opposite. Stuart and Judy are marvelous hosts - there when you need suggestions and adjust to your individual needs. The room was comfortable, quiet, clean and well appointed with a cozy private veranda. It is close to everything and across the street from a spectacular beach. And the food is to die for. We had the marvelous included breakfast and cheese tray but also ordered dinner which was a great home cooked meal. We stayed two nights but could have stayed longer. I recommend this to anyone traveling through or hoping to stay in the Bay of Fires/St Helen’s/ Scamander area. You will be glad you did.

One of the best bed and breakfasts we have stayed in. Lovely old property with large comfortable room. Great breakfasts and friendly hosts. Good local tips for dining and sightseeing. Followed the recommendation to stop at Mount Jukes lookout near Queenstown for spectacular views.
