Boasting a garden and views of garden, Pension l'Etage is a recently renovated guest house set in Melk, 600 metres from Melk Abbey. This guest house offers free private parking, a lift and free WiFi. The pension is housed in a beautiful old historical building while the rooms are modern and very tastefully furnished. The breakfast area is particularly lovely and the hosts were very friendly and generous. The breakfast offering was very good with many choices available including very good cappuccino. I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone visiting Melk.

Offering a garden and garden view, Frühstückspension Haus Ebersdorf is situated in Leiben, 7 km from Erzherzog Franz Ferdinand Museum and 33 km from Dürnstein Castle. Breakfast was super! Lots of choice, boiled eggs, meat, cheeses, vegetables, bread/rolls, cereal, yogurt , fruit, fabulous jams - we bought a bottle! Loved the free parking across the road! The staff did their utmost to speak to us in English - which was one heck of a lot better than our German! The room was large. We happened to hit a time of A LOT of rain so we virtually had the place to ourselves as the bike guests had cancelled - therefore it was very quiet!

Offering garden views, Gästezimmer Ilse Brauneis is an accommodation situated in Mautern, 36 km from Melk Abbey and 7.2 km from Dürnstein Castle. Super friendly owners. The house has a large garden where the family grows own fruits and vegetables. For breakfast they serve home-made apricot and strawberry jams. The room was very clean and well-equipped. The house is situated on a calm street, it was very quiet. Breakfast was very good. Krems is very close - you just need to cross the bridge over the river.

Beautiful place amongst wineyards with the scenery of baroque abbey Gottweig. It felt like a nice gentle touch of Provence by Danube. We've been served true home made breakfast, grape marmelade was excellent. We were lucky to stay during wine tasting weekend in some of the Wachau valley, then the evening with bottle of local wine in front of our rooms was charming. Great place to stay. The owner is great in hospitality, helpfulness and she recommended us other nice places to visit. Thank you.
