It is comfortable, spacious and very well kept. The view and the terrace make the stay unforgettable. The location is also very convenient, quiet and away from the noise of the street while still being very close to the beach and the city centre. Additionally, the host was very kind and helpful. It sits right on the beach but is a good 20 minute walk from the city centre. Staff were very friendly and very helpful. Due to an unexpected turn in the weather, we were advised that our return ferry to Funchal, the following day, was cancelled. So we made the decision to leave that day and so in fact, did not stay in the hotel overnight. Our impressions were, that it was very good value for money. It is not luxurious, by any means but was clean, bright and cheap!EileenYoung couple

Extra blankets, hairdryer, all needed supplies in the kitchen. Great location - near ferry and at the City Center. Big grocery store 2 minutes away. Amazing host - replies with a couple of minutes. Also at the day we left there was no reservation so we were able to check out at 4 p.m.! I absolutely recommend this place for everyone.

Private parking lot just in front of the house which was great for the scooter we rented, and a 10 minutes walk to the centre. Joana was a great host and always available via WhatsApp.
