Such a beautifully designed and spacious home. We felt calm and ‘at home’ as soon as we arrived. Lots of space to spread out. And thoughtful modern furniture ( with Japanese style). Close to restaurants and the suggested local onsen in a campground was great! We are a family of four.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Host was attentive and gave us a bottle apple juice from her own orchard. Comfortable Place with 3 bedrooms. Kitchen very well equipped with coffee machine, cultery, fridge, toaster, microwave oven etc. Quiet environment.
The hotel included a really nice onsen with convenient hours. The hotel offered great amenities, such as bottled water, and supplies for the onsen. The room itself was very private, comfortable, and quiet. The staff is friendly and the breakfast was delicious.
Check-in was very smooth, the hosts were very flexible with check-in time and conditions, circumstances permitting. They were also good at recommending places to eat and of interest, and there were lots of information materials in the house. Iida was a lovely place stopover for us away from big crowded cities/towns. We had a hired car and visited the three charming edo towns of Magome, Tsumago and Narai. There are still some charming places to visit should we come back some time later. And we would hope to stay at the same accommodation!
