Wilderness is the first thing that comes to mind while staying here. The location is really an isolated one. Good kitchen and a good common area.Good place if you are a group.

Great Guesthouse in central Husavik. Clean and quite. Great value for money. Close to the Harbor and the activities offered there - Whale Watching, snow mobile tours, restaurants, shopping, etc. Older house but I like that ! Would stay here again !

It’s quaint right outside of town. We were there in October and drove through a blizzard (literally) and got there a little late so we didn’t see anyone but a cute little sticky with a room key with our name. The shared kitchen had everything needed to cook a nice meal from the grocery store just 1/2 mile away. We had room 4 which had a great picture window where we did see northern lights. Now it is a converted cow shed so not a typical hotel so go with mindset of a unique Iceland experience.

It had a private bathroom, room was on the ground(2nd floor stairs only) very clean and bed comfortable. Staff was outstanding, friendly informative for dining places told us about Geosea Thermal Pool within walking distance, gave us towels for thermal pool. Beautiful view of town and harbour from hotel. Older hotel but all renovated. Continental breakfast was good met lots of people who were going on whale watching tour. Town very popular for this! Wonderful experience stayed 1 night. Small pub and museum next door walked thru, free when staying at hotel but went down to harbour for supper for fish and chips.

Room was comfortable. Good location for our one night stay in area
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
Great location, incredibly bad road there, but that enhances the exclusiveness. Met two returning customers, they love the place as we did. Really nice staff. Passive but "there" and chatted when we wanted to.
Our best location in Iceland. We can highlight location by the sea with a charming sunsets, stylish wooden sail rooms with romantic views, great shared lounge (with huge window) and kitchen, wash and dry machines (even with a powder), small present by owner (postcard), you can buy here wine, beer (selfservice) and we were able to see the aurora lights for two nights. Add close to Husavik location (Whale watching, hot spa bath) and you have the top of tops here. 😉 Great owner Martin. Hope we come here again.
The location and atmosphere are incredible. A truly amazing place. The host is excellent. Not 5 star luxury and bring your own supplies, but a very impressive and enjoyable experience in Iceland. Great venue!
The best place we went too during our 2 weeks road trip around Iceland !
You feel like you are alone in the world. We had the greatest chance to be the only guest during the night we stayed there and had the house for ourselves… amazing experience !
Martin is a great host, communication was easy and he gave us precious advices about our trip.
We will definitely come back !
Great place to be! Situated directly at the sea, the place has been carefully renovated and comes with a special flair. We came after the main tourist season was over and had the place to ourselves, which was quite a luxury. The host wasn’t onsite, but we were in touch via the phone and he was very attentive and helpful. Pity we only stayed one night.
