Beds were warm and comfy and the linens were clean. Room is big enough for the 3 of us. Near tram and bus stop so convenient if you're using public transportation. Pub is just downstairs if you're into that and you can't hear the noise from your room. I specifically chose this hotel because there were 3 beds for each of us. Most hotels I saw were 1 queen/king and an extra bed. So it was nice having our own bed each. Price is reasonable as well.

most comfortable bed . great place to stay , very nice room , convenient location
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
Great value for money in terms of staying close to Sheffield city centre very cheap and cheerful, what you would expect for the price. Good place to stay to be near the city if you wont be spending a lot of time in your room.
Nice place not far from trains, trams, town centre shops etc.
Great breakfast .Not sure it is a boutique or luxury hotel from what I saw. It was pleasant with a comfortable bed though and clean.
Great location, we came up for swimming competition at Ponds Forge, hotel really easy to find from motorway and very simple run in to Ponds Forge.
Staff were the friendliest of any hotel we’ve stayed in. Friendly, helpful, kind.
Breakfast was fantastic, we got full breakfast but if staying g again might just get co to mental as this covers everything apart from cooked breakfast. Lots of fresh fruit/melon/dried fruit, cheese, meats, breads, pastries etc
Wow! I spent the weekend here at the Welcome Inn and was welcomed by receptionist Louise. She was most helpful and extremely supportive with assistance!! THANK YOU!!
I had a twin room, which was clean, bright, well ventilated, and instant heater if required for cold night,it was also quiet in the hallways.
The Welcome Inn is not far from the Sheffield city centre, and Meadowhall!!!
With Receptionist Louise, I was able to navigate to local supermarkets and places to eat.. I WILL DEFINITELY BE RETURNING!!
Worth the money!!
The rooms were clean, tastefully decorated & well set up with what you’d need ….. but most of all the beds were amazingly comfortable!! 😴
We were staying whilst visiting family & the hotel is situated in one of the nicer, leafier areas of Rotherham & was quiet. It’s also close enough to the town centre for cheap taxi rides after a night out! 🥂
The facilities/housekeeping staff & night-porter were lovely, friendly & very helpful.
I would definitely stay again & would recommended to family & friends.
Great location short walk to tram stop for a concert in Sheffield. Lovely staff and lovely building and free parking. Lovely and quiet at night and lots of local bars. Free drink at the bar which was really nice of them.
