The hosts were lovely and friendly, and the accommodation, though small was perfect for us. It was beautifully kept, and everything that you needed was there. Super place!

We stayed in the King Deluxe, on hindsight we would have preferred the Superior Room which was below our room and had more light coming through.
Can highly recommend the crispy shredded beef starter, amazing, could have eaten a second plate!
Live music also good and a great pub in general.

The location is within the beautiful Benson village which is easily accessible by the X40 bus from Oxford city centre. It's about a 10 minute direct walk from the bus stop down the quaint country lane and small high street. The pub is very easy to find and you are welcomed immediately by a lovely roaring fire and friendly staff. Check in is personal and easy at the bar before up the stairs to all the rooms - all rooms are up stairs for any accessibility need checks. The room itself is decorated well and has a lovely bed, hanging space and desk/chair. I had my own bathroom with shower cubicle and fluffy towels. The water pressure and heat were spot on. Wifi was excellent and I had a couple of zoom meetings while I was there with absolutely no issues at all. Oh and it was a lovely surprise that there is a small guest breakfast included each morning - a nice touch! Overall, a really enjoyable, cosy stay - I would definitely recommend!

Great location in Old Didcot. Central to the town, but surprisingly quiet. Actually felt quite rural. I used to live in Didcot and knew the area very well, so was quite surprised by the rural feel to the area! Enjoyed reading about some of the old houses and looking at the historic pictures in the guest book! The Annex is compact, but has everything a couple will need for a stay there.
Great location near to family, and patio doors onto small grass area so easy with the dog.
Smart looking one bed, liked the breakfast bar and bed was comfy so slept really well. Also quiet.
Home from home. Very quiet and peaceful. Love the fact you have access to the kitchen to make tea when you want. You can cook or heat up food or takeaway. Small conservatory i sat in with furniture to enjoy breakfast in the morning. Cereal, croissants.milk etc in fridge and in kitchen to eat. I've stayed here before and chose to come back again as its comfortable and large room is tastefully furnished and its such cheap price for all you get. Emma x
The house is in a great location, and the room is very comfortable, with many resources available, including kitchen stuff and a private shower. Enjoyable stay, worth it. I recommend.
Great location being very close to the train station and shops/supermarkets. The area the flat is in is very quiet with no evening noise. Decently equipped kitchen although I didn't cook in it. Great for a weekend visit.
