The view, the pool, the cleanliness of the property and the location

Robyn’s Nest is absolutely fantastic. Our cottage was very clean, spacious, with very well-equipped kitchen, two nice bathrooms, and two bedrooms with very comfortable beds. The balcony was big and had a barbecue. The resort is situated in beautiful surroundings overlooking Merimbula Lake and only a ten-minute walk from the boardwalk to town. The swimming pool is also very nice and clean with free pool towels. We celebrated our daughter’s birthday here and had a delicious dinner at The Goodenia Restaurant. The food, wine, and service were excellent. We will highly recommend this place.

I booked relatively late in November when my Christmas annual leave was confirmed. Fishpen Holiday Apartments was one of the only options available in Merimbula for the period my wife and I wanted and the cheapest option available. We arrived on Saturday after driving from Tumbarumba, already aware of the location of our stay (my wife and I have stayed on the Sapphire Coast previously and know the area). The location is sensational; just a short stroll to Mitchies Jetty, Cranky Cafe, Fishpen Takeaway, the beach and well within pedestrian reach of town across the bridge. A bit of a surprise to find out the apartments are owned by Gundagai Services Club (Gundagai is "down the hill" from Tumbarumba). The apartment block is one of the older buildings. The kitchen appeared to be clean, as was the bathroom. The bed was comfortable. The linen was clean. The cupboards and cabinetry were old but appeared clean.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Jeanie is a fantastic host. She is very friendly and approachable. The place is located at a beautiful location, and it connects with nature. Lot of fruit trees and we were allowed to do fruit picking as much as we wanted. The place has all the required amenities and services. Will definitely recommend this place. Thank you.
