Situated on the banks of the Sundays River, Sundune Guest House offers a garden with terrace . There is also a shared lounge. The property is very safe, as they have CCTV and electric fences. The room is clean and comfortable, and you can easily tell that they really paid attention to details. It is really nice to walk along the river behind the property in the morning or evening. What I like the most is the manager, Leanne. She is a wise lady and very informative. She gave me a lot of tips about travelling in South Africa and also Addo Elephant Park. I told her I wanted to try bobotie before I left the country and she recommended me to visit Nanaga Farm Stall. Thanks to Leanne, I managed to find bobotie pie there =) Unfortunately, I was only there for one night. If not, I really think that there are many things that I can learn from her

Possibility to use a motorboat on the river for a small fee if you have a boating license. We could have our laundry done by the housekeeper.

Happy Jackal is conveniently located 2 km from the South Gate to Addo National Park. We stayed for two nights, but would have liked to stay longer. Suzette was so welcoming! Breakfast was delicious, especially the bread and jams. The facilities were great and there’s many activities to do if you’re interested. We did a game drive with Tim which was amazing!! Highly recommend!

Love that it is pet friendly, the 2 dogs of the owner, very friendly to our 2 Jack russels. Netflix and aircon a great plus. Apartment was comfortable and parking behind gate was great.
