This 3-star guest house offers private entrance. The owners are great, the room is spacious and stylish, beddings are comfortable. Sulina is like my dream town,quiet, a bit isolated and seemingly on the edge of something (at the end of the ferry on the Danube estuary and after that just the Black Sea). There's a spit/peninsula that goes a few KM out into the water and eventually to a lighthouse, but we didn't go that far and I'm not sure if it's possible to go all the way to the end by walking. Taking out my GPS along the route, you pass within 3 KM of the Ukrainian border.

The food in their restaurant was exceptional probably the best we ve had in the area, the staff and owners were very helpfull and involved. The room was really clean and spacious with a beautiful view of the delta. We loved their boat tour and they made sure that we get to see the wild horses and wildlife.

From the moment I booked the accommodation I exchanged multiple emails and phone calls with the property owner, Mrs Luciana. She was very helpful, advising us regarding parking, boat transportation, boat trips, etc. Also, she was very flexible and offered multiple solutions when due to personal reasons we experienced some problems on our long journey to the destination, which resulted in significant delay. A massive thank you to Lena coming to meet us at the ponton on our arrival, taking our luggage & us with the triciclu to the property. Same when leaving. Lena and the rest of staff members made us feel welcome. The breakfast and meals were plenty, generous and tasty. With the exception of one member of our group we were very pleased with our stay & experience, including food, accommodation and service. For all genuine nature lovers and people who like simple things in life, Sfantu Gheorghe is a memorable place to visit.
