It was just an overall amazing experience, I can’t wait to go back and highly recommend the apartments on the lake, the views are incredible and all the fish swimming around! You can watch them for hours! The kayaking was an amazing adventure, the island sounds like a bunch of monkeys live on it?! If you stay near it long enough you’ll hear all the amazing bird calls. Seriously this place is underrated in my opinion, it was like a fairy tale being out there. Everything was convenient and the staff, the staff was absolutely accommodating, some of the best treatment I’ve ever experienced and they fulfilled all my weird request. Thank you so much!

Located directly under the Wawel Castle hill, Hotel Pod Wawelem offers accommodation in air conditioned rooms just by one of the Kraków’s most well-known landmarks. The easy to reach location, parking facilities in the nearby garage and the centre within a few minutes walk. But above all the home-feeling from the moment of arrival. From reception-desk via breakfast to cleaning-lady, all employees showed a heartfelt service as if they felt personally committed to make you enjoy your stay. And this is so much more than just 'professional'. Something one isn't used to nowadays. A pleasant surprise was the upgrade to a room with spectacular view of Vistula river and Wawel castle. The room was comfortable with everything one can think of during a stay: electricity outlets where you want them, good and warm illumination, good wifi etc. Breakfast consisted of home-made sweets, a choice of bread, salads and spreads, daily changing and creative.

This is an amazing hotel, our room had the most beautiful view at the river and the mountains in a very quiet area. The room was spacious, well-decorated, having all the necessary amenities like kitchen with all kitchenware, dishwasher, fridge etc. The Internet connection was really good, and it was really helpful since we worked remotely. The separate thing that should be noticed - impeccable cleanliness of this place, it's probably the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed at, you feel like you are the first and the only guest that stayed in the room. Overall, highly recommend and looking for an opportunity to return!

We stayed at number 5 which was a self contained chalet within a complex of chalets and apartments. The chalet was clean and modern with two shower rooms a kitchen, two bedrooms, a living area and outdoor veranda. Stocked with all equipment you might need for your stay fridge freezer, dishwasher, kettle etc. There is a play area for children and access to bbq equipment and a bonfire area by a shallow river which the kids love. The restaurant was excellent!!!! Staff excellent!!! We loved it here! A couple of km. out of szczawnica plus for calm, a tiny minus for access to town, however there is a bus stop 20 yards down the road. Highly recommended, thanks for having us!
