Simple and comfortable, everything we needed and excellent value for money. Great to have someone available at the desk, the little seated area was nice, air con was good and room was comfortable!

The friendly and open heart owner Rafa is an exceptional host!!! From the 1st minute we arrived he was very helpful, enthusiastic and welcomed us kindly. I could see the people that come to his place are in a safe and kind hands and he helped a few travellers with their medical issues whilst I stayed there. The rooms are very clean and cleaned regularly if u stay more than 2 nights. They are equipped by A/C and very comfty beds. The breakfast were the most delicious from what I got in Nicaragua, they were so rich and variable that filled u up until late afternoons, they were basically lunch!! 😀❤️ come here and your stay in SJDS will be unique and u will have a true feeling, u are at home surrounded by kind and sincere family!!🙏🙏😎

Absolutely beautiful location perched up on a cliff and overlooking the ocean! The best food we have had all stay in Nicaragua using locally grown organic produce! Entire personal balcony overlooking another beach and a comfortable clean room!

Casa La Aventura Guasacate - Popoyo se găsește la câțiva pași de Plaja Popoyo și are o grădină, o terasă și o bucătărie comună. I cannot describe how much I loved this place; I was made to feel welcome and at home from the minute I arrived and so much care and thought has clearly been put into the casa. The communal spaces and garden are beautiful and spotlessly clean and I loved all the little details like your own space in the fridge and that you can buy/order in groceries and drinks. Location was super quiet and close to the beach and it was really hard to leave this little bit of heaven!

Rancho Tranquillo se află pe malul mării în Moyogalpa și include o grădină și o terasă. Proprietatea pune la dispoziția clienților WiFi gratuit și un birou de turism. Everything was perfect. Daniella and Tony are excellent hosts, very welcoming. Great breakfast and sandwiches for a volcano tour. The place is very beautiful and peaceful. A towel was provided for the stay. It's a little bit of a walk to the property but it is worth it.

Hostel Clandestino Maderas se găsește în Playa Maderas, la 6 minute de mers pe jos de Plaja Maderas și la 1,3 km de Plaja Marsella, și oferă WiFi gratuit, o grădină, un lounge comun și o terasă. My partner and I stayed in the Duplex studio while staying at Hostel Clandestino and let me tell you, it was freaking fantastic! We had two nights booked and push back our plans back by one day so we could stay a third, we’d stay longer if we could, we are in love. We did keep to ourselves a bit as it was our surfing and decompression time from our past weeks but it seems that that hostel is not only great for relaxing but for social life too. Nice common area people seem to mingle, and a cool outdoor kitchen by a skate bowl where they had a BBQ and some music and hangs around yesterday, and it wasn’t too noisy or anything, sounded like a good time! The shared kitchen and washrooms seems clean and beautiful…. Though we didn’t use those cause we had our own!! It was sooo nice to have our own kitchen, fridge, and washrooms what a treat! The studio is the best experience we’ve have had yet on my stay in Nicaragua, so beautiful, peaceful and everything you need, including the cutest little black kitty cat that you can’t get enough of! Highly recommended spoiling yourselves for a few days, and for having pretty much your own tiny home (that is adorable) surrounded by nature, it is very fairly priced! Maderas beach is like a 5 minute walk for your beach chills and surfing needs…also no more then 10 minute walk to some hostel restaurant’s or beach food if you don’t have food to cook as Clandestino doesn’t have a restaurant or bar. We will defiantly return to this little slice of paradise if we get the chance to in the future. Thank you! Xx

Mola Mola Surf Popoyo se află la câțiva pași de Plaja Popoyo și pune la dispoziție un restaurant, o grădină, o terasă și un bar. The place was so nice and cozy. Rafa is an awesome host and very attentive to make sure the guests are comfortable and always able to be reached out in case you need something; plus you only need to take 1 minute walk to get to the beach

Buena Onda Backpackers is set in San Juan del Sur. Built in 2008, Free WiFi is provided. The views are stunning, the breakfasts are gourmet and different every day. We loved everything about it.

El Bamboo Cabins se află în Balgue și oferă WiFi gratuit și o grădină cu o terasă și vedere la lac. Se oferă la locație parcare privată. Very nice cabin, directly next to the water! good temperature due to the wind from the lake. Very Kind owner. There were good restaurants in the area and a cozy vibe. Even though it was a cabin with open window (no glass) we actually only saw a few small insects inside if any! It was clean and nice. Of course you come here for a different experience than a 5-star hotel, and that you get! We can really recommend it!!! It’s very special to stay here😃 Everything was as it should be and we would come again!
