I loved everything! I would have stayed for months if it was possible for me! Pablo, Cleeve, and Flor were just wonderful! They are so available for us! Booked for 2 nights and stayed for 10! I was planning on traveling the coast but I didn't go further than Montañita! About a 5 minute walk on the beach to Manglaralto and about 20 minute walk on the beach to Montañita. You'll never want leave! 😉

Amazing hotel to stay in! Herman was super welcoming, warm and helpful! The rooms are spacious and have a/c! The showers are strong and with hot water. The pool is lovely and you can even try some mermaid tails and take pics of it! Great vibe and amazing people!

Staff Jackson, Benjamin, cheff, Tamara and Christian, excellente people. The peace in the hostel is amazing best place in montañita to chill. Surf, yoga and more activities. The location is perfect near the center but far from the noise. Tia supermarket close. 20 meters the the beach I recommend 100% the hostel. Best hostel in montañita.

Featuring an on-site zoo and a wildlife reserve, Hostería Ecológica El Faro is located in Salinas, offers a free daily American breakfast and a private beach area. It was like staying at a zoo with great ocean views and interesting animals. I loved the monkeys and peacocks. The owner suggested a great place to eat on the beach and the kids played on the shore while we had drinks and waited for our food.

Boasting an outdoor swimming pool, garden and views of mountain, Tavarua Hotel is located in Montañita, 300 metres from Montañita Beach. Everything was clean and well-kept, the entrance had a path until you got to the actual place so you had privacy and were not right in front of the street. It felt private but you were also in a great location next to the main supermarket in Montañita
