I had a wonderful stay at Fano Kroogard. This is lovely waterside boutique hotel on the island of Fano. It is perfectly situated on the North side of the island. It is 5 minutes by walk from the ferry and 20 minutes by bike to the beach, with bikes available to rent on site. The whole property has a calm and cozy ambience. There is a reading nook on the main floor, and a terrace overlooking the waterfront. The decor is so well done with so much attention to detail. The rooms are comfortable, clean and spacious. If you manage to get a suite overlooking the water, you’ll be able to take in the wildlife of the Wadden sea, and see seals out your window. There is a restaurant on the main floor that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. As a hotel guest, the breakfast in the morning is a choice between several local inspired dishes. I had several different meals at the restaurant and every time the food was delicious. For lunch they offer traditional open sandwiches and for dinner several vergetable and seafood entrees. The restaurant is clearly a favourite spot on the island among locals, as it was always full. Above all, the staff is so lovely and they made my stay extra special. They upgraded me to a lovely room with a seaside view and provided excelled recommendations of things to do on the island. I will definitely be coming back to this place.

Located in Sønderborg, Alsik – Hotel & Spa features free WiFi. The property has a fitness centre, as well as a terrace. Guests can make use of a bar. At the hotel, every room is fitted with a desk. We have been there before, and it's hard to complain about a modern room, 10 floors up, with a stunning view. The only downside is that it's not cheap to stay there, it's quite pricey.

Situated in Otterup, in a historic building, 23 km from Train Station Odense, Birkelund BnB is a recently renovated bed and breakfast with a garden and barbecue facilities. Beautifully renovated property in a beautiful green setting! The owners are such nice and thoughtful people who will make sure you come nothing short. The breakfast is luxurious. You will be leaving well fed!! By far, the best BnB i hve ever stayed at and I will recommend everyone who will visit the area to do too!

Stay Bai-Jensen is a beachfront property set in Aabenraa, 31 km from Maritime Museum Flensburg and 33 km from Flensburg Harbour. The house is nicely equipped and decorated. We had everything we needed and more. The host was friendly and helpful. The house is located right next to the see, and also close to the town square.

Set just 9.3 km from Odense Central Library, Tøndegården 2 rooms apartment features accommodation in Odense with access to a garden, barbecue facilities, as well as luggage storage space. The apartment was very cozy and the hosts very friendly. The beds were very comfortable! A quick and easy 15 minute drive into city center and when you return it is very quiet and peaceful making for a great night’s sleep! Breakfast was always fresh and provided each morning in a basket outside the door. Would highly recommend staying here!

Sulkendrup Mølle, a property with barbecue facilities, is situated in Nyborg, 30 km from Odense Concert Hall, 30 km from Møntergården City Museum, as well as 30 km from Odense Central Library. The small lake with the boat was amazing. The kids loved the gallery with the beds. And the area was very beautiful. The hosts were very lovely
