I also stayed in ones of the rooms, which was comfortable, though a fan in the room would be a nice addition. You can dine inside or outside and there's a pool and separate bar. It has a romantic atmosphere after sundown with good lighting. It takes a few minutes to walk to the beach from here. I enjoyed my brief stay, particularly the kindness and smiles of the staff. They even turned on some rock Latino for ambience when I asked for it.StephenTravelers with friends

The approach to Pimentel is very uninspiring but it's a fun place when you get there: a typical seaside place for Peruvians. But it is very quiet in the off season during the week, when we were there. Peruvians' main meal of the day is lunch, so don't expect more than a couple of restaurants open in town in an off-season evening. Nevertheless, it was a delightful place to stay, with a beach and pier.

Great if you didn't want to go out to eat. Check out is 12 noon too which is great. Time for an hour on the beach before leaving. Friendly staff too. Not expensive either. We were there 3 nights.
