Had an amazing stay at Sen Guesthouse. The place was super clean and beautifully decorated. Love the view of the sea. I was a little apprehensive about the steep steps but it was manageable and the hosts helped me with the luggage. I was able to prepare meals in the fully equipped kitchen. Mathew San gave me great information for my ongoing trip. Thank you Nori San for the sweater! Hope to come back again!

Location is fantastic, right on the beach and just a few minutes walk to the bus stop, Olive Garden and Olive Park.
The owners are very friendly and the breakfast was excellent.
The rooms were very clean and have everything needed.
Absolutely fantastic and new accommodation with a terrace and amazing view. Beautiful sunset and sunrise on the beach. Right next to Shodoshima Olive Garden. Everything is brand new and the place is fully equipped including kitchen with induction hob, rice cooker, microwave etc. Washing machine available.
Very kind host, easy check in instructions.
Supermarket about a 20 min bus away.
I rarely write reviews but I do this time, as this guest house was fantastic! I stayed with my friends, enjoyed their lovely private beach by ourselves, and had a great time chatting in the cozy living room and the balcony, surrounded by beautiful nature. The craft beer the owner brewed in collaboration with the local brewery Mame Mame beer was excellent and I was so excited as a huge craft beer fan! The owners were friendly, professional and knew everything about the island. Talking with them made me want to return to Shodoshima again soon.
Amazing location with beautiful sea views from the room and communal terrace! Also a great little beach space with hammocks where you can relax, swim and watch the sunset.
The hosts are friendly and always available for help, tips and to make you a simple breakfast.
It is useful to have a car to visit the island or go to a restaurant at night.
The extra kindness of the owners that made us feel at home, the amazing view from the terrace, the confy tatami bedroom, the nice kitchen area, the private beach with hammocks, and on top of that the local craft beer brewed by the owner himself! Thank you for that perfect stay 🙏
The house and rooms were lovely. The hosts were great and gave really good recommendations and the house also came with the free use of their private beach. We had the best stay!
I had the bread and jam for breakfast and it was delicious! It was nice to have some "proper" bread in Japan. The place has it's own private beach and deck to hang out. The dorm beds were nice and spacious and the mattresses were very comfortable. The hosts were lovely and attentive and gave me lots of advice about what to do.
