Loved this property, it was warm and cosy on arrival and it was lovely and clean. It was in the perfect location and within walking distance to Slieve Donard where we attended a wedding so it was ideal (2 mins walk) Host was very friendly and attentive.

Now part of Marine & Lawn Hotels & Resorts, Slieve Donard Nestled at the foot of the Mountains of Morne, the magnificent Slieve Donard stands among six acres of immaculate private grounds.

The Christmas decor was out of this world! So beautiful! The bar & wait staff were incredible, especially Sarah that girl needs a bonus! Our room was upgraded and we got left a little treat for being on a minimoon which was absolutely brilliant. The room was STUNNING! The bed was so comfy! The bath was absolutely amazing, very roomy!

    Beautiful hotel, Perfect location, right on the beachfront and at the top of newcastle town so everything was walking distance. The staff were the nicest staff I have came across in a hotel, they couldn’t do enough. We were given some cupcakes on arrival for my partners birthday which my 6 year old was delighted with. The bed was most comfortable and the rooms were spotless. My son cried when we had to leave so I Will definitely be returning.

    This hotel is absolutely gorgeous inside & out. A lot of attention to detail. The location is fab, right on the beach front & close to all shops etc. The staff were more than lovely to us, that’s one thing that really stood out to us and made us feel very welcomed. It was my mums birthday and the staff had written her a note which was a lovely touch and very thoughtful.

    Fabulous location right on the beach. An immaculate, tasteful & spotlessly clean B&B. We had a lovely welcome from Maria who showed us to our room, took our breakfast order for the first morning and showed us a small fridge in the hallway where complimentary bottles of water were kept along with extra milk for the tea tray. The breakfast was freshly prepared & delicious. An excellent find, in a lovely seaside town and a perfect base for walking in the Mournes, will definitely return.

    We were in the area for what was supposed to be a hiking weekend but due to the heat turned into a chill on the beach and potter about Newcastle kind of weekend! And Conlyn House provided the perfect base. The room had a sea view (I'd recommended booking this option to hear the waves at night), right on the sea front for easy beach access, tasty breakfast with lots of options and very helpful staff. We will be back!!
