Despite the weather, we had the best Christmas holiday here; CJ, Sheree, Mele and all the staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful, went beyond their duty to help us. I will go back! Vinaka and sota tale!

Beautiful little dream resort on it's own island. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. They are a little limited since they are on their own small island so the food and drinks aren't very varied or fancy.

We stayed in the reef room, which was just a few steps from the beach. The proximity to the beach was the highlight of our stay and exactly what we loved most about this property.
Facing the seafront in Naviti Island, Wai Makare Homestay features a private beach area and a garden. The homestay has family rooms.

The location is amazing! It felt like you had a private beach to yourself and there were other beaches you could easily walk too and it was really giving untouched isolated beauty vibes. You could go snorkelling right off the beach and the coral here was beautiful! It was more colourful than I’ve seen in years!
Seru and everyone else was absolutely lovely, so kind and welcoming, made you feel like family and they really look after you! Thank you so much!
Keep in mind this is a homestay, cash only, electricity in the evenings, there is wifi (but it’s only on briefly and near the main area not your rooms) and mobile signal is patchy, but it didn’t matter and you don’t really need it, helps you live in the moment.
Hopefully one day we will return :) thank you!
Facing the beachfront, White Sandy Beach-Best Manta Snorkeling offers 2-star accommodation in Naviti Island and features a garden, private beach area and restaurant. The hotel has family rooms.
There’s nothing quite like waking up to the sound of swirling waves and the smell of sea air through your bedroom window. Beachfront accommodation comes in a variety of forms, from well decked-out resorts to secluded homestays and villas. Beach hotel amenities can include air-conditioned rooms, private terraces overlooking the sea and outdoor pools with adjacent bars.
We stayed in the garden Bure which were lovely and peaceful. The food was excellent and the beach and snorkelling the best I have seen. We did the mountain hike and highly recommend. We enjoyed the night snorkel but felt it was a bit short but this may be because we had to wait a long time for some no shows. Son and husband also did the coastal trolling and said it was the highlight of their trip.
The reef right on the beach was great to hire a snorkel out and see plenty. Loved the food here, was the best food out of 4 places we stayed at whilst in Fiji.
The private bungalow on the beach was amazing. The beach was 10/10 and the people were so lovely as was the food. I will never forget our time there. It was truly bliss.
definitely our favourite resort we stayed at in our 2 week trip. the staff were amazing and happy to help with anything. my boyfriend proposed to me here, and the team set up the most beautiful dinner setting on the beach. The food, was easily our favourite thing about the hotel. we were shocked at how much food, and how much better quality the meals were compare to all the other resorts we stayed in, despite all being the same price. 5 course meal for dinner was great!
The food was exceptional. The location stunning. Great activities schedule to suit all. This resort may not suit everyone. To our delight, it wasn’t a standardised sterile over styled/polished chain hotel. It felt authentic to island life, charming, delightful, and fitted beautifully within its natural environment. This said, we lacked nothing during our stay including aircon (not all rooms have this), private beach cabana right outside our bungalow, stunning outdoor private en suite shower, bar facilities, lovely pool etc etc
Octopus resort was a truly idyllic, stunning location with such a special connection between staff, guests and the local village. The food was particularly wonderful, and the sunsets from our beachfront bure were unforgettable. We stayed with our 2 year old toddler, who was very well cared for and entertained. There was a fantastic array of activities to participate in every day, and we loved being able to walk straight out the door and down the beach to snorkel along magical coral reefs with loads of marine life. An unforgettable experience.
coral reef right on the beach, pool was nice. Village visit was awesome. kids activities were great and crab races were fun. make sure you book a room with a/c wifi was surprisingly good.
Great staff and management, well organised resort. the beach is beautiful and there is good snorkling right on the beach. Kids club was a good idea, they can take care of the kids all day
