The room was upgraded however the view from the very small balcony was of trees. The size and standard of the room made up for this though. The hotel was very clean and the staff really helpful. The amenities in the room were above and beyond. The hotel is in a perfect location. The bike hire attached to the hotel is great and the guys there are really helpful too. We loved our stay here and hope to come again.

Very comfortable bed and friendly staff. Warm pool water and hot whirlpool was a lot of fun! Parking garage with luggage trolleys and lift directly to the room floor.

We ended up going to the front desk at Chamois up the street to check in unnecessarily as Horstman House front desk hours are very limited and it wasn't manned when we arrived . The location is excellent - a short walk to Lost Lake beach, and we ended up walking into the village center for dinners. The bed was very comfortable with good quality linens
