Kids enjoyed the water slide and splash pad. The beds were comfortable and the AC kept the room comfortable during the weather heat wave warning. The front counter staff were helpful and friendly. Ice machines on every level rather then just 1 floor.

Quaint hotel with lots of history in a perfect location walking distance to the waterfront and restaurants. Spotless rooms, happy hour, complementary coffee in the morning, super comfortable beds, parking out back, great staff.

Kids loved the water slide, wish the floors around pool and slide would be cleaned up better as there was a lot of hair. Staff were friendly, room was clean, it was great to have a decent restaurant with bar right in the lobby!

Fantastic location next to Lake. 10 min walk to (lake) beach. Plenty of free parking. Never too busy in reception or breakfast/restaurant areas even though a very big hotel.

Great value hotel in the perfect location for exploring Halifax. No complaints for the price, more affordable than many other places in the area yet it's still good quality.

Very good, completely exceeded my expectations, the boat is right in the backyard! There is a large seafood market around that can process live lobsters. There is a beautiful seaside park not far away. The host is very friendly, the breakfast is rich and varied, I will definitely come back again.

For us it was the perfect location next to the railway station where we arrived from Quebec on the Ocean Train then it was very convenient for The Waterfront, Pier 21 museum and the Citadel. We were also given a late checkout which was very useful
