Hell of a location but Wifi broken, full trash can left from previous tenants, mouldy cups of coffee in the cupboards, jars of crap left for YEARS to rot. Bathtub leaks so can’t have a proper bath, wasps nest on the bins which has been there for a while it was quite big, stung one of the girls as she was taking out the trash. Place is very worn and needs a severe deep clean and a bit of a fix up. For the price I expect it to be spotless not just a nice location. Thoroughly disappointed and won’t be booking again. I suggest looking at other rentals in the area with a different company. Plenty of option about.

    Loved the room, it had an ocean view. Loved the location across from the beach and a great coastal walk to the town centre. The room was very clean and the staff very friendly. Liked that they had undercover parking

    I just needed a place to stay overnight that was centrally located and reasonable price. Surf Beach Motel filled these requirements. The room was exceptionally clean, had a large fridge and kitchenette, modern clean bathroom and a quiet air conditioner. In comparison to my travelling companions, who stayed right on the beach (no view) in an upmarket motel, which wasn’t as clean, I paid half the price, and was just a short walk to the beach and bowling club.

    The place was really nice, clean, large rooms, amazing beach view, I guess from the upper level would have an infinity view and also perfect location. Close to the nearby restaurants and also the local Bowls Club too.

    The apartment was in a good location close to town and close to the beach. There was heaps of parking. The pool was bigger than I thought it would be and my kids had loads of fun in the pool. The linen was clean and there were plenty of towels. Town Beach nearby had a great little cafe right on the beach and the coastal walk is great!

    Location was ok but not what you expect when it’s called The Surf Beach Hotel. No surf in sight! This was a budget room and the room was very new, but very, very tiny! It has a nice bathroom and overall it was done up quite lovely but very small. I did like the cleanliness and the fresh colour scheme.
