During this tour, you’ll explore the characterful streets of Strasbourg’s Old Town, discovering its unique culinary scene. Due to the city’s history, its cuisine has a strong German influence with an Alsatian twist.
Your guide will lead you to four excellent eateries and you’ll have tastings of typical dishes at each destination. Some of the specialities you’ll try include the savoury tarte flambée pastry, choucroute – a dish consisting of sauerkraut, potatoes, meat and sausages –, indulgent cheese dishes and spaetzle. You’ll end on a sweet note with a traditional yeast doughnut and a Christmas cake flavoured with honey and spices.
