I recently had the pleasure of staying at Inca Palace Experience in Puno, and it was an unforgettable experience. We booked a three-night stay and opted for the three-person apartment, even though we were just two people. The slight price difference was absolutely worth it for the extra space. The apartment featured a fully equipped kitchen and a cozy living room, separate from the sleeping area. The shower was excellent, and the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. What stood out the most was how quiet and tranquil the room was; we couldn’t hear any noise at all, which made for a very peaceful stay. One of the highlights of Inca Palace Experience is that it is not just a typical hotel chain. It is a family-run business by a wonderful mother and daughter duo who were incredibly nice, sweet, and helpful throughout our stay. Their genuine care and hospitality made us feel right at home. I highly recommend Inca Palace Experience to anyone visiting Puno. It offers a unique, personal touch that you won’t find in larger hotel chains. Also, is very cheap considering what you get and it is 3 minutes walking to Plaza del Armas.

With lake views, kaypi rosas wasi Amantani is located in Amantani and has a restaurant and a 24-hour front desk. With garden views, this accommodation provides a patio. I loved my stay here. The family are beautiful and looked after me very well with delicious food, cultural education and support in arriving and leaving. The room is artistically painted, bed comfortable with a ton of blankets to keep you warm and you get a little hot water bottle in a sock, which is very thoughtful. Bathroom is new and tiled with ceramic toilet and sink, but there's no running water- use buckets which is not a problem. There is electricity. The island is serene with no cars. Staying with this family is a memory I will cherish and never forget. You could not ask for more kind, friendly and generous people. They were so happy to share their everyday life and culture and their big hearts! Highly recommended!

INCA PALACE Experience is set in Puno, 300 metres from Plaza de Armas Puno, 400 metres from Corregidor House, as well as 400 metres from Conde de Lemos Balcony. Host Liz was GREAT!! She contacted our next host of trip to make sure transportation was arranged. She was very friendly and nice Great location with easy walk to Plaza de Armas. Beautiful apartment. Washer and dryer available outside the apartment door.

The apartment is very well located, near the centre, without being in a noisy area. The hosts were very kind and helpful, providing assistance with what we needed in our short trip to get around. This option provided very good value for money. There is a secure garage near the apartment where you can safely leave the car. The hosts were kind to guide us there and facilitated communication. Be ready to climb a bit to get to the apartment ;).
