Although we arrived after midnight, Olga was incredibly accommodating and made the check-in process seamless. Communication was easy, and she greeted us warmly upon our arrival. The room was spotless, with a lovely view. The location is great, with a bus stop conveniently nearby for easy access to the city. Olga lives on the first floor, and our room was on the second. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for comfort and convenience!

The host,Hendrik, is an exceptional person, willing to do anything for his guests to enjoy their stay and his part of this beautiful country called Norway. In our case, this included driving hours in the middle of the night, in the snow, to see the Northern Lights - unimaginable hospitality!! The location is wonderful, with the waterfall immediately behind the guest house, and great views of it from the common areas as well as from our bedroom. It's a good base for exploring the area, including the Polar Park, and for us was an excellent stop off point between Lofoten and Tromso. The guest house is as described - everything needed is provided (fully equipped kitchen, complimentary coffee, juice, etc). We had a double en-suite room upstairs which was spacious, comfy and clean with good heating and stunningly close view of the waterfall from the bed.

Host was very kind and nice! Short walk to the water for the fjord view. We got a chance to see the beautiful Northern lights.. Overall, a wonderful experience at House of Aurora!

House of Aurora I er en nyrenoveret lejlighed i Tromsø, hvor gæsterne kan nyde haven og grillfaciliteterne. This is the best stay I have had in a year. Me and my wife went there on March. The place is a little bit far from town but near to a lot of trails walk and aurora spot. All the instructions that you need to get in the apartment are easy to understand. The apartment itself has everything we need. The host is so friendly and he even text me when there’s aurora outside the house which we can just see it through the big windows. Definitely will come back!
