Upon entering we all immediately relaxed after a week of traveling. The decor is lovely and bright. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bed is comfortable. The rooms are large. And the bathroom is completely lovely and very spacious.

The unit is a separate maisonette in a backyard. It looks brand new and consists of a kitchenette, a bathroom, a living area, and a bed area. The kitchenette has a capsule espresso machine and a few slices of cake for a continental breakfast. This was an unexpected and welcome luxury, as the unit is in a residential area without a cafe or bakery nearby. The sightseeing center of Colmar is about 30 minutes away on foot, but there is public transport if you want to figure it out. The price was very reasonable for a major tourist attraction during the busy Christmas market season.

We arrived late at night, it was pouring rain and the host went out of his was to help us find a parking space and offered to help us with the bags up the stairs. Regarding the house, it was very comfortable and well decorated.
