Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a pool with a view, sea view and a patio, Garoupa Stella Maris Apartamento N10 is located in Vila do Maio. We had an incredible one-week stay. The property is located in the "Stella Maris" condominium, which from my experience having visited Maio multiple times is probably the best of its kind on the island. The apartment was well-equipped, with a comfortable bed and all the essentials. The condo itself features a fantastic pool with stunning ocean views, which was the highlight for us. The price was fair, and the host Odair was communicative, quickly addressing any minor issues that arose.

Upon arrival I was greeted by staff who was super friendly and helpful throughout the entire duration of the the trip. Excited to return in the future.

They went to pick us up at the ferry, cooked for us, took us fishing and snorkeling! The house is located on a little farm and has everything you need, kitchen included. The beach is only a 5 min walk: beautiful, empty beach. On the farm there’s a lot of different animals so you can feed and play with them. We want to come back already!

A recently renovated property, Casa Carlotta Maio is set in Vila do Maio near Biche Rocha Beach, Praia de Ponta Preta. This beachfront property offers access to free WiFi and free private parking. The place is very cosy and the staff is super nice. They let me check out late. The breakfast is in a bar close to the forte Sao Jose and it is served from 8.30/9am.

Clean, nice interior decoration and good location close to the beach. The donkeys outside the hotel gave us an authentic awakening every morning.

Located 1.2 km from Biche Rocha Beach, Guest House Maio offers accommodation with a patio, as well as barbecue facilities. Franklin is a great host, very helpfull.
