I arrived late, around 11.30pm. Taxi driver had difficulty in finding the guest house but the owner guided him successfully and was at the door to great me.
The guest house was fine. Breakfast OK.
The guest house is in Old Muscat, a small quiet neighbourhood where government buildings are located. National Museum was just down the road. I walked over to the neighbouring suburb of Mutrah the next day and easy walk from the guest house. However, the guest house is quite a way from downtown and the bus station where I arrived in Ruwi.
Old Muscat is picturesque compared with downtown making it a good place to stay. There several simple but great restaurants in nearby Sidab.

The location is fantastic and very beautiful. It is a small village not far from the city center. It has many features and activities. There are people who take you at a reasonable price to the beaches, turtles and dolphins. It is preferable to do so through Sultan.

The apartment is located out of busy city which we really liked. It is walking distance from the beach and the mountains surrounding it, is spectacular. We will definitely book again because we love the piece and quiet. The staff were all super friendly and contributed to the experience.
