We liked: - The wonderful, responsive, helpful owner, Laura,* and her staff, - The delicious home-cooked breakfast Laura delivered to us, - The complimentary bottles of water & local beer that welcomed us in the room fridge, - The clean and bright, secure 2nd floor 1-bedroom apartment with shared balcony with lounge chairs, - The excellent mini-split A.C. unit & wifi service, flat screen tv and wall outlet adaptor, thanks (I forgot mine), - The water view & walking distance to beach & town pier (for any hired boat service). *Including Laura finding us Shem's Taxi to help us explore the island (after we over-estimated our ability to handle local driving on the opposite side of the road from the US on the narrow, windy/steep roads!). Shem is a stellar taxi driver/tour guide who took us around to many beautiful places we'd never have found on our own!

The host Ronny was right on spot to greet us and also to check us out. Very friendly person. Literally a stone's throw from the grocery; don't even bother to start your car - you'll get there faster walking if you have to warm the car up :-) We only spent 1 night there as we had other accommodation for the other nights. Based on logistics especially when it comes to driving, Tranquility Suites would have been the much better choice to stay more days. Amenities were great. It is only after we compared the other location you appreciate the little nuances, like bed mat, bath mat, beach towels that make a property stand out. That you definitely get at Tranquility Suites along with a washing machine! The layout of the unit was great with ample space to maneuver Would definitely recommend.

Loved it here! Easy to walk around town and use as a jumping off point for exploring the island. The room was quiet and comfortable. Christopher was kind and so helpful with anything we needed or had questions about. Loved sitting on the porch in the morning to read and in the evening to watch the sunset.

Owner was very nice and accommodating. Place had an amazing view from the balcony. You are right next to the Pitons for an amazing hike, there is snorkeling / diving a few min away at the bay, water taxis that can take you all around also are at the bay, and there is a bus / taxi terminal as well. All within walking distance. The people are relatively nice, be cautious of the fact that if you don’t negotiate you will get fleeced, we found a man that was very helpful with getting us taxis and water taxi to castries at very good rates, you can reach him via WhatsApp at ‪ 1 (758) 721‑8441‬, his name is Jah.

The apartment was very clean and well furnished. It had a wonderful view of the mountains to the south. A clean bathroom with a great shower. The kitchen had all the implements needed to cook. It was comfortable and cozy. The air conditioner kept the bedroom quite cool while the rest of the apartment could be quite warm. There is a friendly local restaurant and tour operator a few buildings away, which is very convenient.

The pool looked very nice and inviting although we didn’t actually get chance to use it as we arrived late afternoon/early evening and it rained following morning. Property grounds well maintained. The king-sized bed was comfortable. Host was responsive. Fully equipped kitchen and good A/C.

    Everything. Wonderful place with gracious hosts. They picked us up from the airport despite of delayed flight. Apartment was cozy with all the amenities. Our pick up to SLU airport did not show up and Paul took out his car and drove us to the airport. One of the most amazing conversations we have had during almost an hour and half drive. We learnt so much about St Lucia and history. We can’t thank enough to Paul and Sasha. Highly recommend staying here.

    This apartment is in the middle of the hustle and bustle of laid back village life, you get to watch the comings and goings of the locals from it's balcony. Laura is lovely and on hand when needed (she immediately showed up with a bottle opener when we needed!) We were made very welcome.

    Everything, the apartment is very clean and spacious, has everything we needed. the balcony has an amazing view to the sea and the town, and great sunset views. Ellen and John were such great hosts. They helped us with everything that we needed. the village has lots of shops and restaurants and bars to shoose from. the beach is only 10-15min walk from the apartment, and it's a nice walk, and the beach is amazing, not busy and clean. the locals are very nice and kind. we would definitely stay here again :)

    The Apartment is very comfy. Very comfortable bed, nice balcony with a great view and a well equipped kitchen. Ellen and John are very nice and helped us whenever we had a question- even before we arrived (as it was over Christmas and shops were closed). Laborie is very nice, people are friendly and the beach is nice.

    We stayed here for 2 nights in August. Very easy to find, in a quiet secluded area but a 3 minute walk to the village with all the shops, restaurants, bars and beach nearby. It's a very clean, fully equipped first floor apartment with panoramic views from the balcony of the Caribbean sea. The beds are very comfortable and plenty of towels are provided. In the mornings we had the beach entirely to ourselves. Highly recommended.

    The apartment was close to Laborie and its lovely beach and eating places, which were excellent value for money. Soufriere and the places of interest near it were within a short drive and our host Patrick was an invaluable guide to the places and culture of Saint Lucia. He was always ready to help and advise. We feel we got to know the real St. Lucia away from the big resorts.

    Had a lovely stay at Sunset Lane! The panoramic patio with kitchen is great (definitely a perfect place for morning coffee or a glass of wine and a good book in the evening). Comfortable rooms. Lovely owner who is super friendly (during my stay it was her mother’s birthday and all guest were invited to the party in the village). Will definitely come back! Location is also prefect as base-camp if you have a rental and what to visit all the sights in the Vieux Fort and Soufrière region.
