The bath was really big and perfect for soaking and reading my book! The fact it had an actual coffee machine for real coffee and not just a kettle or pod machine was an added bonus. The view overlooking the Abbey was also beautiful. The overall cleanliness was impeccable, and the added touches such as the welcome note and wine just added to the overall welcome feeling.

Beautiful self contained Annexe, loved that we had our own safe car parking spot too.
There was a smart Tv which was a bonus! Everything you could ask for was provided, and only a short walk or drive to local amenities. Wish we could have stayed longer!!

The apartment was easy to locate and is only 4 miles from York City Centre. Bus stop located right outside the property which took us into york for £2. The apartment itself is very spacious with all mod cons, kettle, fridge, etc. It's also warm and cosy. The heat can be controlled via a hive hub, which was good. The bed was ultra comfy so we had a decent night's sleep.

Beautiful little apartment had everything we needed for our visit to York
For the travellers who appreciate a space of their own at the end of the day, an apartment or flat is the perfect home away from home. Furnished rooms and kitchen facilities give groups and families the flexibility to enjoy downtime separately, or plan the next day’s activities over a shared meal. Often available for short and long-term.
The apartment was great, everything we needed for a short break. The place was lovely and quiet and great to explore York. Sarah and Ian were lovely hosts and the apartments were like home from home.
Breakfast and dinner were good, traditional Marston Inn fare, which was hot and tasty. The room was a good size and had everything you needed, but was a short walk from the restaurant. Everything ok for a short stay, but you wouldn't use it as a holiday location to tour the local area.
Breakfast room location and staff all good. We stayed 2 nights one booked with Booking .com then anotyher added direct with hotel. Fortunately they let us have same room for both nights. We had visions of being evicted from our first nights room and being movbed to another room as hoytel was very full both nights Fri and Sat. Tjhanks guys for letting us stay in same.
Leaving. We made it up 40 steps to loft space, and sat down to regain our strength. Having then internet searched, we left to a better place, which I must say was not very difficult to do. Converting flats into rooms has not worked, rethink the layout.
Family room was spacious and everyone had a towel, not always the case in some establishments. Good choice of food on the dinner menu and the breakfast was well presented. Staff friendly and courteous and treated our late junior age grandchildren as though they were adults when they spoke. we enjoyed our short stay but would use you again if we are back in that area.
The breakfast was very nice with quick, friendly service. The location was nice and easy to spot. Staff helped with any questions that we had and were welcoming. The room was cozy but nice and clean, my girlfriend and I were just passing through so only spent one night here but we enjoyed our short stay here.
Nothing - Unfortunately within 35 years of renting accommodation either hotels or studio building for business via various providers this was simply the worst experience I have ever encountered.
The property appearance externally is awful and not situated in a nice area or environment. This is the 1st time I felt unsecure and vulnerable due to adjoining sub let property. I was woken at 03.15 am for 1 hour by intruder shouting next door 6 feet from my property door demanding drugs and money and other expletives from the said property.
