The Annexe, hotel in Buckden

This place was so sweet, and cosy. Great for a romantic stay. As it was Christmas, we a had a little tree with lights, which was a lovely touch. We even got a gift of shortbread biscuits and a bottle of beer. It’s situated opposite a pond full of ducks, so a great place for taking photos. Great stay!

Lovely apartment, really well equipped & provided everything we needed for our stay. Doggy friendly which suited us and even dog bowls/towel and blanket provided. The apartment has a lovely garden area too. Vicky and Richard are perfect hosts, lots of information provided about things to see and do and where to eat. Stunning location, local shop for essentials and a good base for visiting Aysgarth, Skipton, Bolton Abbey and many more.

The property was comfortable and very well appointed. Thanks to a cancellation we also got upgraded to the apartment with a deck from which to enjoy the sunshine. The welcome from Richard and Vicky was very friendly and they could not have done more to make our stay enjoyable.

Lovely cosy accommodation in a beautiful peaceful setting, with added touches such as fresh flowers and a welcome basket and to top it off fantastic hosts. Plenty of walks straight from the front door and a nice pub just a few steps away, but the accommodation was more than well equipped for a self catering break.
