Dila organized for us a tour of the island and she let us do a late check out, which was super convenient because we were flying from Sal at 7 pm, so we could enjoy the beach and then take a shower. I strongly recommend staying here, especially if you’re not a fan of resorts like me but still want to be in a great accommodation. I only have good things to say about this place. You’ll love it! Communication was proactive and clear, the host helped me arrange transportation from the airport. The staff was friendly and helpful on arrival. The studio was clean and had everything I needed. The building has great WiFi and a nice rooftop to hang out on. The location is perfect as well. I highly recommend this place!

We ended up extending our 2 night stay to 5 because of the comfort :) The bed was a spring mattress, but surprisingly comfortable and nice :) The wifi was powerful, stable and fast, which made computer work a breeze ^^ Probably the best thing at Misturod was the filtered water...helps save money and not worry about drinking from the tap. The AC was exclusive the bedroom, but was super strong and cooled things off quickly...which was great after hours in the sun! 5 minute walk to the main street and 5 minutes to the shell cemetery beach!!

We reach Palmeira at around midnight (ferry from Santo Antão). After just 5 minutes walk from the harbour we reached La Vela. Milanca sent us great instructions for the self-check-in. The room has many useful details and fed all our needs. You can feel that not just the rooms were designed and equipped with great passion for the guests. The bus stop just outside was the right place to continue our journey to Santa Maria.

Located in a quiet area, few steps from a very nice beach and also scooter and car rentals, and within 10mns from center which was great Bed is comfortable and we slept very well, there were sometimes some dogs outside but this is the case in almost all santa maria and it wasn't frequent and didn't disturb us much (despite being light sleepers) Dima was responsive and provided all necessary for our stay also local tips Very good price value overall
